Stacey Solomon's son Rex taken to hospital after 'nightmare' fall
Stacey has updated her fans that Rex is on the mend
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash were forced to take their two-year-old son Rex to A&E last night, after the toddler cut his lip open during after falling in the garden of their new home, Pickle Cottage.
Stacey, who recently announced she is pregnant, took to her Instagram Stories this morning to update her fans on Rex's accident, admitting he was very brave whilst getting butterfly stitches.
She told her loyal Instagram followers: "We had a nightmare yesterday. Rex fell over in the garden and we were like, 'Up you get.' Then we looked and it was not an 'up you get' situation. He hurt his lip so we took him to A&E and he got some butterfly stitches put on. I'm going back today to get some proper stitches because it's in a really awkward place."
Revealing the nasty cut didn't seem to affect Rex, Stacey added: "But he was so good and he didn't make a sound. He was just like: 'Yeah, fix it,' to the doctor. But he was so good."
Stacey has since taken Rex back to the hospital to get him some different stitches, revealing at 9.44am this morning they were waiting to be seen.
Last week, Stacey and her fiancé Joe confirmed they were expecting their second child together, Stacey's fourth in total.
Posing alongside Rex and Stacey's older sons Leighton and Zachary in the garden of Pickle Cottage, the family shared their joy with Stacey writing: 'We are growing another pickle 👶🏻 We’ve never felt so grateful... I have no words. We didn’t think we would get the chance. We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle 🥺'. (sic)
