A 33-year-old man has become the first person to be charged with the vandalism at Trump Turnberry earlier this month.
Police were called to the incident at the South Ayrshire venue at around 4.40am on Saturday, March 8, after protesters targeted the golf course and premises.
It resulted in red graffiti being daubed on the clubhouse, with a number of holes dug up and damaged.
At the time, activists from Palestine Action claimed responsibility for the damage at the site, but it was slammed by Trump Turnberry as a "childish, criminal act".
Yesterday, two pensioners were questioned and released without charge, after their investigation had taken them to Oban.
Now police say the man, who was originally arrested on March 12th before being let go without charge, will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday.
