Police reappeal for information on missing East Ayrshire
Jason Anderson was last seen on Friday 12 December
Police in Ayrshire are appealing again for information to help find missing man Jason Anderson.
The 33 year old was reported missing on Thursday 18 December, and was last seen around 6pm on Friday 12 December in Catrine, East Ayrshire.
Police say they have deployed specialist resources, including helicopters, drones, mountain rescue teams, and officers on quad bikes, as well as reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out door to door inquiries.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, Jason's brother Frankie said: “We want nothing more than the safe return of Jason.
"Jason, if you see this message, please get in contact"
"It's been an extremely difficult couple of weeks, wondering where Jason is and hoping he is ok.
"Please, if anyone has any information at all that could help bring my brother home, contact the police.
“Jason, if you see this message, please get in contact as we just want to know you are safe."
Chief Inspector Stuart Dougan said: “Jason has now been missing for a significant amount of time and is it out of character for him not to be in contact with family or friends, especially over the festive period.
"We want nothing more than the safe return of Jason"
“I’d urge anyone who may have seen Jason, or a man matching his description, to report any sightings to us.
"Anyone with any information about his whereabouts should contact police immediately.”
Jason is described as around 5ft 7ins, of medium build with short, fair hair.
