Two arrested after drugs and a firearm recovered in Kilwinning

The men aged 20 and 57 have been released as long as they appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date

Two men, aged 20 and 57, have been arrested after drugs and a firearm were recovered by officers following a search of an address in Kilwinning on Wednesday, 12 November 2025.

On Wednesday morning, officers from the Local Policing Team and Priority Policing Team in Irvine recovered the controlled drugs, believed to be crack cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £3250 from a house in Innerwood Road.

The men arrested were released on an Undertaking to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Will Thomson, Locality Policing Team, Irvine, said, “We will continue to carry out intelligence-led policing to disrupt the supply of drugs and arrest those involved in this type of crime.
