Biker killed on Ayrshire road after crash with two cars
The tragedy happened on the Maybole to Alloway road on March 13
A 57-year-old biker has died after a crash with two cars in South Ayrshire last night.
He was riding a red Honda VFR800 that was involved in a collision with a grey Omoda 9 Noble and a white Volkswagen Tiguan on the B7024 Alloway to Maybole road north of Culroy around 6.30pm
The rider of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
The road was closed until shortly after 4am on Saturday, 14 March to allow for an investigation at the scene.
Sergeant Neal Galbraith said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in this collision.
“Our investigation to establish exactly what happened is ongoing and we would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the crash.
“Anyone who believes they can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 2877 of 13 March, 2026.”
