Two men are in hospital after a car collided with a pedestrian before crashing into a shop window in Largs on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened around 1.40pm on September 27, on Main Street, and the 67 year old driver of the car was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, where his condition has been described as stable.

Meanwhile, the 63 year old pedestrian remains in hospital, also in a stable condition.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing."
