A 54-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving

A 26-year-old man has passed away after his car crashed into a wall in Bradford yesterday (Friday 2nd May 2025). He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was travelling from Queensbury to Denholme at the time.

A 54-year-old man has now been arrested and remains in custody whilst police officers continue to investigate.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 19.21 yesterday (2 May) to reports of one vehicle in collision with a wall on Brighouse and Denholme Road.

"Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team (MCET) believe there was another car involved, a black Ford Fiesta, the driver of that vehicle a 54 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody at this time.

"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage.
