Witness appeal after man repeatedly punched woman on Dundee road
Officers are seeking good samaritans who tried to stop the attack
Officers have launched a witness appeal after a woman was seriously assaulted by a man on a Dundee road.
It’s understood people tried to go to the woman’s aid as she was repeatedly punched by the thug between 4pm and 4.30pm at Lochee Road last Sunday near to the junction with Dudhope roundabout.
Police say they shouted at the attacker to stop but they left the scene before emergency services arrived.
They believe they can offer considerable help in identifying the violent man and they’re urging them to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number CR/181724/25.
