Watch : new Dundee Utd owner dismisses merger rumours

Dundee Utd owner Mark Ogren met the media today for the 1st time since taking over the club last month.

Speaking to our Sports Editor Dave Galloway the US businessman was keen to dismiss speculation about a merger with their neighbours just down the road Dundee.

As for Dundee owner Tim Keyes, he issued a statement : "at no time has a merger ever been discussed in meetings with the Supporters Society, nor has it ever been contemplated by the owners of the club".

Meanwhile, Mark Ogren's recently appointed Managing Director and Sporting Director were unveiled at Tannadice.
