Scotland to face Switzerland, Slovenia and North Macedonia in Nations League

Published 12th Feb 2026

Scotland have been drawn against Switzerland, Slovenia and North Macedonia in the Nations League.

The matches will take place between September and November this year - with any potential play-offs scheduled for March 2027.

Steve Clarke's side are the top ranked team in League B, meaning they were drawn out of Pot One.

After leading the nation to their first World Cup in almost 30 years, Clarke will also be targeting a return to the top tier of the Nations League.

Scotland are next in action at the end of March against Japan in a friendly at Hampden.

They'll then travel to Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium a few days later for a clash with Cote D'Ivoire.

Curacao are also lined up as a World Cup warm-up march in May before the squad travel to the USA.
