Death of 'cherished mother, grandmother and daughter' in Dundee treated as murder

A 'heartbroken' family are 'struggling to comprehend' the death of a 54-year-old woman which police are now treating as murder.
Police attended a property on Milnbank Road following reports of a disturbance on Saturday, 6th December. Lili Stojanova was found unresponsive, and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say following a post mortem examination, her death is being treated as murder.
Family 'struggling to comprehend' the death of 'cherished mother, grandmother and daughter'
Her family has issued a statement following her death, they said: "We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Lili, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter and a woman of remarkable talent. A true artist in every sense. She expressed herself through her art which was a reflection of her gentle heart and unique soul. Losing her is a tragedy, and it is something our family is struggling to comprehend.
“As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we kindly ask for privacy and space to mourn and remember her in peace. We ask the public and media to respect our boundaries and allow us to honour her memory with the dignity and love she deserves."
Enquiries ongoing
A 42-year-old man, arrested and charged in connection, appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, 8th December.
Police say enquires remain ongoing.
