Wyatt to embark on mammoth 700-mile run, walk and cycle to Planet Rockstock 2025
His next gruelling challenge, Wyatt's Road to Rockstock
Last updated 26th Sep 2025
A year on from his gruelling Walk to Rockstock, Planet Rock daytime presenter Wyatt will embark on his next epic charity challenge – Wyatt’s Road to Rockstock.
Last November, Wyatt raised an astonishing £57,000 for Planet Rock’s charity Cash for Kids on his five-day, 185-mile walk from Planet Rock HQ in London to Planet Rockstock at Trecco Bay in Porthcawl, South Wales.
A bruised and blistered Wyatt battled the British weather, undulating hills, busy roads and dark country lanes to raise vital funds to support young people’s mental health.
Wyatt's Road to Rockstock:
For 2025, Wyatt is turning the effort dials to 11 for Road to Rockstock.
Once again, Wyatt will set off from central London and end up in South Wales, however this year he’s not taking the direct route.
Through a combination of running, walking and cycling, the Road to Rockstock will see Wyatt travel up the spine of England, touching into Southwest Scotland, before heading back down to Wales to reach Planet Rockstock.
The monumental 700-mile challenge will take Wyatt 10 days from Tuesday 18th November to the first full Planet Rockstock day on Friday 28th November.
Wyatt is undertaking the incredibly tough challenge to once again raise funds for Cash for Kids.
All money raised will be used by the charity to support children and young people across the country with their mental health.
Wyatt says: "I decided to create my own version of an Iron Man for this year. As I'm not a fan of swimming – especially not in the winter - I've replaced water with tarmac and will make it a multi-day walk, cycle and run event.
“I hope to raise just as much, if not more than last year for Cash For Kids.....and also I will this year I will try and keep myself out of hospital!”
