The Pretty Reckless premiere video for Dave Grohl and Pat Smear collaboration
The Foo Fighters stars added vocals, drums and guitar to the song
The Pretty Reckless have premiered the official music video for ‘About You (Bonus Version)’ featuring Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.
The original version of ‘About You’ is one of the standout tracks on The Pretty Reckless’ acclaimed June 2026 album ‘Dear God’, which charted at Number 6 in the UK.
Explaining why she recruited Dave Grohl and Pat Smear to add vocals, drums and guitar to the song, Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen says: "'About You' is one of my favourite songs on the record, so I wanted to do something special.
"I called Dave and Pat and asked them if they'd lend their magic to it. It was an amazing time in the studio making music, there's nothing better than jamming with friends. I couldn't be happier with the result."
The newly unveiled ‘About You (Bonus Version)’ offers a snapshot of The Pretty Reckless’ life on the road and in the studio, and we also see clips of Dave and Pat performing the track.
Taylor says: "We wanted to give you a glimpse into our world, from life on the road to moments we share in the studio.
“'About You (Bonus Version)' is a little piece of that journey. But at the core, it is all about YOU. The fans who make it all possible. You’re the real stars of this one and we thank you."
The Pretty Reckless rocked Download Festival in the summer, and they return to the UK in November for a series of sold-out UK shows and intimate acoustic performances.
