Planet Rock takes a look at the hottest rock festivals taking place in 2026 — including headline acts and how to grab your tickets. With the return of outside rock extravaganzas like Bloodstock and Planet Rockstock, let us guide you through some of the best festivals still to come in 2026, who will be headlining and where to buy your tickets.

The hottest UK rock festivals coming up in 2026:

EddFest 2026

Iron Maiden will headline their Knebworth extravaganza over the weekend of 10th-11th July. EddFest will also feature The Darkness, The HU, Airbourne, The Almighty, Stray, Maiden United, Airforce, Tony Moore's Awake and Hair Metal Glamageddon. There will also be an 'Unfair Funfair', 'Infinite Dreams Music Experience' and 'Eddie's Ultimate Dive Bar'.

Maid of Stone Festival 2026

Taking place at Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2026, Maid of Stone Festival will return for another year. The Temperance Movement and Saxon have been announced as headliners for Friday and Saturday, while Uriah Heep and The Almighty will co-headline Sunday night.

Steelhouse Festival 2026

The incredible Steelhouse Festival is set to return in 2026, with The Temperance Movement, Rival Sons and Steel Panther set to headline. The almighty festival will be returning to Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm - on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons - from Friday 24th July 2026. Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2026

Bloodstock Open Air Festival will return in 2026, taking place in its home of Catton Park, Derbyshire, from 6th-9th August 2026. With performers announced including Lamb of God, Slaughter to Prevail, Judas Priest, Saxon and Body Count, as well as Black Label Society, who were added to the line up alongside nine others in October. Tickets are on sale now.

Reading & Leeds Festival 2026

Returning over the August Bank Holiday 2026 will be none other than the world-renowned Reading & Leeds Festival. The festival is set to include another star-studded line-up, including Florence + the Machine, Kasabian, RAYE, Charli XCX, Chase & Status and Fontaines D.C.. The epic weekenders — which have grown a reputation as one of the UK's biggest and best music festivals — will return from 27th-30th August 2026.

Stonedead Festival 2026

Stonedead Festival will return in 2026 on 29th August - with one day, one stage, and one monster rock show where rock music reigns eternal. The festival promises to continue their tradition of bringing both established and new rock bands to Newark Showground, Nottinghamshire. So far announced for the festival are Swedish rockers Europe, as well as Magnum, The Damn Truth, Crobot and Asomvel.

Planet Rockstock 2026

Planet Rockstock will return to Trecco Bay Holiday Park, South Wales from 26th-29th November 2026, for its 13th event. The first wave of artists announced included Magnum, King King, Blaze Bayley, Häxan, Parker Barrow, Blue Nation and Billy Sheehan's The Fell, featuring vocalist Toby Rand, guitarist Mike Krompass and drummer Nick Chiarore. Headliners Geoff Tate and Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts have since been announced too. Day tickets are now on sale.

Winter's End 2027

The next installment of Planet Rock presents Winter's End will take place at Trecco Bay Holiday Park in South Wales in January. From Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st, the popular rock festival will celebrate it's 10th anniversary — with the first wave of artists being revealed on Friday 23rd July 2026.

Ozzfest 2027

Ozzfest will return in 2027, coming to Villa Park in Birmingham — where Ozzy Osbourne performed his iconic 'Back To The Beginning' concert. The festival will bring together rock and metal artists with young, new talent, like Ozzy "would have wanted", according to Sharon Osbourne.


Dates are yet to be announced, but Sharon has revealed it will take place over two days.

Download Festival will return to Donnington Park from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th June 2027.
