Mick Jagger on Rolling Stones tour: 'I'm ready to go!'
He wants to hit the road in 2027

Octogenarian rock legend Mick Jagger says he’s chomping at the bit to hit the road with The Rolling Stones once again.
Last year, The Rolling Stones booked in some UK and European stadium dates for this summer, however the shows were scrapped as guitarist Keith Richards was unable to commit to touring.
Since then, The Stones have announced they will release their 25th studio album ‘Foreign Tongues’ on Friday 10th July 2026, which boasts the superb lead single ‘In the Stars’.
In fresh interview with Sunday TODAY in the US, Sir Mick Jagger was asked about the possibility of The Rolling Stones taking ‘Foreign Tongues’ on tour.
“I’d love to,” 82-year-old Mick enthused. “I really want to and, I’m ready to go. I don’t think we’re gonna do shows this year, but hopefully we’ll do shows next year.”
Mick’s comments echo those of Keith Richards, who told the Association Press at the launch of ‘Foreign Tongues’: “We can talk (about touring) next year.
“At the moment, we’re just sort of saying, we’ve finished the record… (and we’re) considering what to do after. Pretty soon, but not this year.”
The Rolling Stones’ last concert took place in Ridgedale, Missouri in July 2024.
