Heaven & Hell live performance of Sabbath classic 'The Mob Rules' gets new HD video
Recorded in New York in 2007
A thunderous 2007 Heaven & Hell live performance of ‘The Mob Rules’, the Black Sabbath classic they recorded together 26 years earlier, has been given a new upscaled-HD video.
Recorded at Heaven & Hell’s New York Radio City Music Hall concert on 30th March 2007, the rendition of ‘The Mob Rules’ showcases the late-great Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice in their imperious, untouchable live glory.
All 15 songs from the fabled concert were immortalised on the double live album and concert film ‘Live from Radio City Music Hall’ in August 2007.

'The Mob Rules' video has been premiered ahead of the release of the expansive Heaven & Hell boxset 'Breaking Out of Heaven 2007–2009' on Friday 27th March 2026.
Available to pre-order now, ‘Breaking Out of Heaven 2007–2009’ is released as 7LP (costing £200) and 4CD/Blu-ray (costing £100) boxed sets via BMG.
Both editions boast an illustrated book with new liner notes by Hugh Gilmour, along with a replica tour book and poster.
The box set focuses on the final chapter of Ronnie James Dio’s celebrated tenure with Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, and drummer Vinny Appice as Heaven & Hell.
The set follows the band’s reunion run, beginning with their triumphant 2007 New York performance, ‘Live From Radio City Music Hall’, followed by the Top 10 studio album ‘The Devil You Know’ in 2009, and the live album ‘Neon Nights: 30 Years Of Heaven & Hell - Live at Wacken’, recorded later that year on tour in Germany.
The Blu-ray features video from Live from Radio City Music Hall and Neon Nights: 30 Years Of Heaven & Hell - Live at Wacken, plus band interviews.
