Foo Fighters accidentally leak song title as they tease new activity

Foo Fighters have accidentally leaked the title of a brand-new song while teasing fresh band activity.
Late last week, Dave Grohl and co. posted a short 30-second video on social media featuring an image of a green parrot perched on in front of a Marshall speaker stack and the Foo Fighters band logo.
The video came with a tantalising 30 seconds of atmospheric instrumental music and the caption ‘About to take flight….’
Foo Fighters fans debated whether the teaser video was pointing towards new music or a Brazilian tour - or possibly both.
One fan has since taken to Reddit to reveal that when they shared Foo Fighters’ reel to their own Facebook account, the video was soon muted due to a copyright match.
The copyrighted content found in the video was a Foo Fighters song called ‘Asking For A Friend’.
No further information has been revealed about the new Foo Fighters music, however the band continued their tease on Monday (20th October) with an Instagram story appearing to depict them in the recording studio.
Foo Fighters have played a series of lowkey North American concerts this autumn with new drummer Ilan Rubin, who has replaced the ousted Josh Freese.
