Pop sensation Chappell Roan joined forces with Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson for a performance of ‘Barracuda’ in New York on Sunday night (21st September).
A keen Heart aficionado, Chappell Roan has been performing ‘Barracuda’ at her live shows for over a year now, including her headline sets at Reading & Leeds Festival last month.
On the latest stop of her Visions of Damsels and Other Dangerous Things tour at the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York on Sunday, Chappell Roan introduced Nancy Wilson to the 14,000-strong crowd.
Playing her custom-built purple Telecaster guitar, septuagenarian rock legend Nancy Wilson proceeded to perform the iconic ‘Barracuda’ riffs as Chappell Roan belted out the track with great aplomb.

During an appearance on Ann Wilson’s After Dinner Thinks podcast back in May, Chappell Roan told Ann “I think you have the best voice in rock”, and said “nothing” has ever made her feel as powerful as performing ‘Barracuda’ onstage.
Hailing it as her “favourite song”, Chappell Roan said of her first ‘Barracuda’ performance: “I was like, ‘actually, this is the coolest song ever. And I feel like a rock star!”
