Woman charged with attempted murder and robbery after Aberdeen incident

A woman has been charged with attempted murder and robbery after a man was rushed to hospital with injuries in Aberdeen.

Police were called out to the Marquis Road area at around 4.45am on Saturday following reports of a disturbance. Emergency services attended the scene and a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

Detective Sergeant Niall Mullen said: "This was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public.

"We ask anyone who may have been in the area at the time and hasn't already spoken to police to contact us if you have any information."
