Two arrested for drugs offences in Ellon

The pair were charged after warrants were executed over the weekend in Aberdeenshire

Police in Aberdeenshire have seized more than £20,000 worth of drugs in Ellon.

A 40 year old man and a 24 year old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offenses, after officers executed search warrants over the weekend.

The man is due to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday 23 February, while the woman has been released on an undertaking to appear at a later date.

Constable Daniel states “Dugs cause serious harm in our communities, with drug dealers seeing to exploit vulnerable members of society.

We work tirelessly to disrupt, deter, and detect anyone intent on causing harm to our communities”.
