Three charged in connection with death of Aberdeen man

Three people have been arrested and charged with the death of a 44 year old man in Aberdeen.

Police were called to a report of the death of David Prystajko at a property on Marquis Road on Saturday 22 November 2025.

Two men aged 27 and 32, and a 43 year old woman have now been arrested and charged in connection.

They are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday 13 July.

"There has not been a single day David has been out of our thoughts"

David’s family have released the following statement through Police Scotland:

“David was a deeply loved father, son and brother. He was a caring and loving person, and the grief experienced due to this unexpected loss has been unimaginable.

“There has not been a single day that David has been out of our thoughts, and he will remain in our hearts forever. We continue to wake everyday with horrible thoughts and feelings, caused by his loss.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Police Scotland for their dedication in the enquiry and for the support they have provided our family throughout this incredibly traumatic time.

"The grief experienced...has been unimaginable"

“As we continue to grieve, we kindly ask that our family’s privacy be respected while we allow the legal process to take its course.”

Detective Inspector Andy Machray said: “Our thoughts remain with David’s family during this difficult time.

“Incidents of this nature can understandably cause concern for the local community, and we’d like to thank the public for their support during this investigation.”
