Last updated 23rd Apr 2026
A man's been knocked down and killed on one of the busiest roads into Aberdeen.
The 41-year-old was hit by a taxi about 3.10 am on the A92 just north of the Bridge of Don retail park.
The road's been closed in both directions to let police investigate.
Road Policing Sergeant Lesley Morrison said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has died and we're offering them support at this difficult time.
"It's vital we find out exactly what happened and I'm appealing for the public's help. Were you in the area around the time and saw what happened? Did you see a pedestrian on the A92 and have information which may help? Do you have dash-cam footage from the area which has captured anything significant? If you do, please get in touch."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0317 of 23 April.
