Gritters out in Aberdeen tonight as temperatures fall

Snow is forecast and road temperatures could fall as low as 2.9C in some places - the public are reminded to take care, and stay safe.

Gritters will be out on Aberdeen Primary routes from 6pm tonight as temperatures fall, with snow forecast.

A Council Spokesperson said:

"️ Due to the forecast of snow and low road surface temperatures of down to -2.9C in some places, our gritters will be out on the primary routes (which are 50% of the city's roads network) from 6pm."

"More gritting may take place during the night depending on the snowfall. Please take care overnight and tomorrow morning."
