Maya Jama 'splits' from footballer Rúben Dias

They were one of the hottest couples in town over the last 18 months, but if reports are correct, Love Island host Maya Jama and Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias have called time on their relationship.

According to The Sun, Maya and Rúben mutually ended their romance before Maya headed off to Scotland, to film the upcoming second series of The Celebrity Traitors.

The couple first started dating at the end of 2024, after being introduced at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester, where they were both guests. It wasn't until January 2025 when they went public, packing on the PDA as they attended KSI's Baller League event in London.

It took the pair until May 2025 to appear on each other's social media accounts, before they shared snaps from a romantic trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, where Maya shared a video of her topless boyfriend on a luxury yacht, alongside the caption 'Perve Cam'.

The couple were prominent figures on each other's Instagram page since, but it now looks like the deletion spree is starting for both Maya and Rúben.

Whilst Rúben is about to head over to America to represent Portugal at this year's World Cup, Maya also has a very busy time ahead.

The 31-year-old is currently over in Scotland filming for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors, alongside the likes of Bella Ramsey, Michael Sheen, Rob Beckett and Miranda Hart.

As soon as that has wrapped, Maya will then fly over to Mallorca for the 13th series of Love Island, which is due to begin on Monday 1st June.

Maya, who has hosted the hit dating show since 2023, features on the latest trailer, which seems involve a football theme to celebrate the upcoming World Cup.
