This month we're focusing our Spotlight On... Freya Skye. The singer-songwriter might only be 16-years-old, but she's got a wealth of experience already and a fan base across the world. Not only has Freya appeared on the Kelly Clarkson show, she's sold out many dates on her current tour.

Here at Rayo we're keen to support artists we think are ones to watch over the coming months and years. Find out more below...

While Freya is only 16-years-old, the singer has already gained a huge amount of experience in the music world. Growing up in Buckinghamshire, and now based in Hertfordshire, Freya was chosen to represent the UK at Junior Eurovision four years ago, where she ended in fifth place.

It was while at Junior Eurovision that she caught the attention of Disney and signed to Hollywood Records.

After releasing songs such as 'silent treatment', which she performed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and 'gold's gone' in 2025, attracting 1.5 billion streams of her music, Freya is now set to go on tour in 2026, performing in Manchester, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff and London in October and November.

Along with releasing her singles, Freya also has an EP out called 'Stardust', which was released on 4th February. The EP features 'silent treatment', along with four other songs, 'petty', 'golden boy', 'maybe tomorrow' and 'why'd you have to call'.

Speaking about her EP, Freya said: "I’m so excited that my debut EP 'stardust' is finally out! I’m so excited about this project and proud of how it’s come together. Each song on 'stardust' is a piece of who I was when I wrote it. They’re messy, honest, and a little bit broken on their own, but together they tell the full story. This EP is about embracing those fragments and letting them exist exactly as they are, and I really hope that people can connect with it and love it in the same way I do. This really feels like my first big step into music and one that I feel super excited about."

Chatting to Scott Clarke on Hits Radio, Freya revealed what was coming next for her. She said: "Definitely an album, it's always been my biggest dream to have like a body of work and a project, and 'Stardust' my newest EP feels like a step there, but I feel like the album is the lead.

"The album is the big thing where it's like... the singles, it's like a huge thing and it's like, I don't know, I think I'm still building that and I'm really excited, because after I finish my shows, I have some shows in Australia in June, then I have some time to just like really knuckle down."

Last year, Freya also landed the role of Nova Bright in Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, becoming a fan favourite, and later going on tour for 'Descendants/ZOMBIES: Worlds Collide Tour', which sold out NYC’s Madison Square Garden and LA’s Crypto.com Arena.
