1) She's from South Shields
Geordie princess Perrie is from South Shields in the North East - along with her bandmate Jade Thirlwall, although the pair never met before The X Factor despite living a few miles away from each other!
Perrie, who no longer lives in South Shields, returned to her hometown to film a segment for Alison Hammond's Big Weekend show in early 2025. Perrie and Alison visited her old house, as well as grabbing fish and chips at the beach and heading to the local pub!
Perrie also dedicated a track on her solo album to her hometown, called 'Sand Dancer'. A Sand Dancer is a name given to people from South Shields. During her trip home in October 2025, Perrie performed a duet alongside her dad to 'Don't Stop Believin' in the local pub, The Sand Dancer.
3) She sang an Alanis Morissette song at her X Factor audition
