Man charged in connection with serious assault in Camborne

Detectives investigating a serious assault which happened on Reskadinnick Road, Camborne, have charged a man in connection with the incident.

Devon and Cornwall Police received a call from Ambulance Services yesterday (21 June) reporting that two people had been stabbed at a residential property.

Both victims were taken to hospital, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and they remain in hospital.

Detective Chief inspector Steve Fleetwood, who is the force senior investigating officer leading the incident, said: “We have charged 20-year-old Callum Kyle from Camborne with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a knife in a public place.

“He has been remanded in custody to appear at Truro Magistrates’ Court on Monday 23 June.”
