The headliners for next year's Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival have been confirmed.

14 years after his last Highland festival appearence, Fatboy Slim will play at Belladrum on Friday July 30th.

The internationally renowned DJ and producer, otherwise known as Norman Cook, played Rockness in 2006, 2008, 2010 and featured as a very special guest in 2013.

Manchester indie rock band James return to Belladrum, one year after they were unable to perform at the 2026 festival due to frontman Tim Booth losing his voice.

They'll play on Thursday July 29th, just short of 20 years after they headlined Belladrum in 2007.

Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald will close the festival on Saturday July 31st.

The occasion also marks an important milestone for Amy as her hugely successful debut album, This Is The Life, was released on 30th July 2007, meaning her Hot House stage appearance will be just one day after the album celebrates its 20th anniversary.

She featured at Belladrum in 2007, 2010 and 2018 and oraganisers say she has remained consistently among the most-requested artists in Belladrum's audience surveys.

'This is only the beginning' - Festival Producer Dougie Brown

For Belladrum 2027, the festival has recorded its strongest ticket launch since the covid-19 outbreak, with Early Bird tickets selling out in just 16 minutes.

This year's event itself finished just 1,500 tickets short of a complete sell-out.

Belladrum Festival Producer Dougie Brown said: “We said earlier this summer that we had booked our biggest headliner ever, and it's been incredibly difficult keeping this one quiet.

"To finally reveal Fatboy Slim alongside two other incredible headliners in James and Amy Macdonald feels pretty special - three very different artists, but each with an incredible connection to our audience.

"This is only the beginning - we think 2027 is going to be a very special weekend.”
