In addition to the usual drama Love Island delivers each summer, the show's producers raised the stakes in 2024 by launching the very first All Stars series during the Winter—bringing back fan favourite former Islanders. The debut season, won by Molly Smith and Tom Clare, proved to be a hit, paving the way for a second series that aired in early 2025.

ITV/STV bosses have confirmed Love Island: All Stars will return for a third instalment this year, with an extended series, and now the full line-up has been announced.

When does it start?

Series three of Love Island: All Stars will begin on Monday 12th January 2026. After announcing the start date, Maya then shared a video from the set saying: "I've had my glam done and the Islanders are all hidden in secret rooms. I've not see any of them yet. I can't tease anything apart from the fact that you're going to love it and there'll be some familiar faces, obviously.

"It's all feeling like it's about to start happening. It's just like 'Christmas, get out the way.' I'm ready to go to South Africa."

Which Islanders are taking part?

After months of rumours, 12 Islanders were announced at 11am on Monday 5th January, including former winners Jess Harding and Millie Court.

When was series three announced?

On Monday 4th August 2025, bosses announced Love Island: All Stars will return for a bumper series in early 2026, airing for six weeks instead of five.

Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director, Lifted Entertainment, said: “Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love. We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.”

Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor, Reality at ITV added: “With over 2 billion streams, the Love Island brand continues to thrive, with our All Stars series fast becoming a staple in our reality schedule. We can’t wait to kick start our third series and set about bringing back some of the viewers’ favourite Islanders for another unmissable series.”

A source said: “It’s very early days but Jess, Andrada and Alima are all in talks with ITV bosses about joining series three of All Stars. They’re all massive fan favourites so viewers would be tuning in to see them find love.”

What channel is it on?

The All Stars series will air on ITV2/STV2 and ITVX and STV Player.

The duration of series one and two was five weeks, but it's now been confirmed that series three will last six weeks.

Who will host the show?

Maya Jama will return to host the third series.

Where is it filmed?

Just like the Winter series was, Love Island: All Stars is filmed in a luxury villa in South Africa. Series two was filmed in the same location, with bosses releasing photos of the revamped villa just days before the new series.

Will there still be a Winter series?

The All Stars series replaced Winter Love Island in 2024 and featured some of the show's most iconic Islanders from the last 10 series.

Martin Oxley, Head of Formats and Entertainment at GroupM Motion Entertainment, said of the new series: "Motion is proud of its long partnership with Love Island, and can think of no better way to celebrate this milestone alongside Lifted and ITV than going on a date with our most-loved and longed-for Islanders."

There's currently no plans to bring back Winter Love Island.

Does Casa Amor feature on All Stars?

As fans will know, the iconic Casa Amor didn't feature in the first or second All Stars series.

Love Island’s Executive Producer Mike Spencer told The Mirror last year: “Casa Amor, as we know and love it, doesn’t really work for a five week run because you need time to bed in, get to know each other, see if they are for you and if you want to switch it up.

"I think you don’t need the element of bringing a massive influx of new islanders in. That is good for an eight week run but you don’t need it for this. This is going to be more intense and people will fall for each other quicker."
