After appearing on series one of Last One Laughing together, funny men Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade have teamed up for a brand new comedy show called Hot or Cold.

Set to air on streaming platform Netflix, the pair will lead an all-star line-up of comedians and funny celebrities in a show which is set inside a mysterious institution with challenges that appear to make no sense.

Netflix say of the show: 'Their only guide is the room itself, which glows red when they’re getting warmer and blue when they’re getting colder. The challenges range from the simple to the completely absurd and totally hilarious as the pairs race through room after room to be crowned Hot Or Cold champions. It’s the classic childhood game now played by adults who really should know better'.

Bob Mortimer said: "Spending time with Richard Ayoade is one of my all-time favourite things to do. Closely followed by playing Hot or Cold, so this has worked out brilliantly."

Richard Ayoade added: “Although I prefer mild temperatures, it’s been instructive to participate in something as binary as this.”

Chris Cohen, who will executive produce the new show, then added: "I've spent my entire career in telly walking into rooms and having no idea what's going on, so it's a delight to work with Netflix and finally make a show with that exact premise. We are thrilled to have two of Britain's best in Bob and Richard at the heart of it all."

When does it come out?

There's no release date just yet, but it could be 2027.

Who will take part?

Bob and Richard will front the show, but no other comedians or celebrities have been announced at this stage.

How can I watch it?

Hot or Cold will stream exclusively on Netflix.
