Christine Quinn confirms Selling Sunset return and ANOTHER star is joining her
Two old cast members are returning for series 10!
Although we are still fully obsessed with Netflix reality show Selling Sunset, it's probably fair to say the series hasn't had as much drama since the departure of OG star Christine Quinn after series five.
After Christine didn't appear in the last four series, the mum-of-one has now confirmed she will be returning to the show for series 10, following the breakdown of her marriage to businessman Christian Dumontet.
Following reports from US Weekly last month about her return, Christine has now confirmed the exciting news herself, writing on Instagram: 'I’m back b-tches… Did you miss me? 💅'.
Christine also spoke to Tudum about her return, saying: “Adam DiVello and I reconnected after my divorce, and I really appreciate him extending the invitation to come back on. I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity.”
Fans and co-stars were quick to comment on the post, with Jason Oppenheim writing: 'LET’S GO!!!!!!!!👏👏😍😍'.
A fan wrote: 'Haha YESSSSS the Queen has ARRIVED', with podcaster Joe Baggs writing: 'NAH THIS IS MY SUPER BOWL'. (sic)
Back in March, a source told US Weekly: "Christine is coming back,” noting that the cast was “supposed to start filming and it has been delayed because they are waiting for her to finish negotiations.”
Following series five of Selling Sunset back in 2022, Christine decided to leave the show, and after a number of spats with co-star Chrishell Stause, Christine seemed to slam producers, dubbing the show fake.
Taking to social media in April 2022, Christine wrote: '30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset 🥰🥰enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines! 💰 💅'. (sic)
Who else is returning?
As if that wasn't enough excitement ahead of series 10, former cast member Heather Rae El Moussa has also announced she's returning to the show.
Sharing the news online, Heather, who left after season six, posted a video of herself entering The Oppenheim Group, writing: 'See you on Sunset. 🎥'.
Speaking to Tudum about her return, Heather said: “I’ve become a mom, a wife, a business owner, and I finally feel secure enough in who I am to walk back into that world and not lose myself in it,” she shares. “I’m calmer, more grounded, less reactive. I know what I want, and I’m not afraid to say it.”
Heather left the show after series six, going on to work with her husband on a show called The Flipping El Moussas, where the pair flipped luxury houses.
However, she did make a small cameo appearance during episode five of season nine, as the agents set up a donation centre to help those affected by the California wildfires.
Who else will be on series 10?
As fans will know Chrishell Stause won't be returning for series 10. The actress shared with fans in November last year: "I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health."
She added: "If they do continue, I wish them the best… If they do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show. The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved."
US Weekly are also reporting that both Nicole Young and Chelsea Lazkani won't be returning to the cast, and will be replaced by Tara Sarbaz. However, reacting to a post on Instagram, Chelsea seemed to dub this 'fake news'.
Netflix are yet to confirm any further casting details for season 10.
Whilst we wait for any news, all nine series of Selling Sunset are on Netflix now.
