With three series of the celebrity edition of Race Across The World proving a great success, the BBC confirmed earlier this year that Celebrity Race Across The World would be returning for a fourth instalment, as a group of famous faces attempt to travel with no phones, limited money and zero flights.

After the BBC teased the line-up at the end of September, they later confirmed the celebs and revealed when the new series would begin. Now as the show airs weekly, here's your ultimate guide!

When did it start?

Series four kicked off at 8pm on Wednesday 28th October.

When is it on TV?

New episode air weekly every Wednesday at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Who is taking part in Celebrity Race Across The World?

'Space Man' singer Sam Ryder has signed-up for the adventure show, as well as hit maker Ella Eyre, TV personalities Junior and Princess Andre, and TV pundit Jeff Stelling.

Sam will take part alongside his tour manager Kaz, whilst Jeff will travel alongside his son Matt. Siblings Junior and Princess will also work together. And Ella will be joined by her childhood friend Nana.

News of Junior and Princess' involvement was first rumoured back in February, with a TV source saying at the time: “Princess and Junior have proven themselves to be well-mannered, hardworking kids and opportunities continue to come their way. Execs were impressed with the ratings for The Princess Diaries but also how they came across.

“They’re brilliant signings for Celeb Race as they bring with them a younger audience."

Although they didn't confirm anything, during an interview with Hits Radio Breakfast's Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr in July 2026, the pair did say: "Celebrity Race Across The World would be sick to do."

What is the route?

The 7,500 km journey will start in Kuching, in the Malaysian state of Sarawak in North West Borneo, ending on the sunbaked southern tip of Australia and the finish line in Melbourne.

For series three in 2025, teams started their journey on the idyllic Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, before travelling 5,900km to reach the finish line in the remote and breathtaking Península de La Guajira in Colombia – the gateway to South America.

How can I watch old series?

Old series of Celebrity Race Across The World are available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.
