Two teenagers found dead at Bridlington holiday park
33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter
Two teenagers have been found dead at Little Eden Holiday Park in Bridlington, following a call of concern for safety.
Emergency services arrived at the scene yesterday, where a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were pronounced deceased inside a rental property.
Northbank Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Matt Peach stated the situation is "incredibly distressing and heartbreaking for the families of the teenagers involved."
Specially trained officers are supporting the families, while a cordon remains in place to facilitate ongoing enquiries.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and is currently in custody.
Authorities are exploring the possibility that the deaths may be linked to carbon monoxide poisoning.
Humberside Fire & Rescue, the Health and Safety Executive, and East Riding of Yorkshire Council are collaborating on the investigation.
Emergency services have visited other properties on the site to provide advice and ensure safety.
An increased police presence will continue in the area, and updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
