A teenager who murdered 18-year-old Owen Dunn in Swindon has been named for the first time, after a court order was lifted.

Ciaran Newman, who used to live in Sackville Close in Walcot, was just 14 when he fatally stabbed the teenager in a park in the town in December 2022.

As Newman is now 18-years-old, legal restrictions which were in place have been lifted and his custody photo has been released.

Newman is serving a 12-year sentence in prison and a second person, Tyler Hunt, now 20, is serving a minimum term of 19 years after he was also convicted of murder.
