Two men who used fake scouse accents while robbing a shop in New Mills, North Derbyshire have been jailed.
Stephen Bradley and David Oakley wore masks and used different names to try to hide their identities, while taking cash, cigarettes and bottles of whiskey.
The pair were captured on CCTV saying "we need to get back to Liverpool" and apologising to the person behind the counter as they left.
Despite their efforts, the two men were identified by witnesses and arrested at a house in New Mills a short time later.
Inside the house officers found a large amount of tobacco, nine bottles of Jack Daniels and a silver pellet gun.
Bradley, 56, of New Street, New Mills, was charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
Oakley, 48, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery and possession of a knife.
Both admitted the offences at appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court for sentence on 24 June when they were each jailed for four years.
