Investigation into fatal house fire in Ashford
A child has died and another is in hospital

An investigation is underway after the death of a child in a Kent house fire.
It happened yesterday in Ashford.
Another child and an adult are being treated in hospital.
At the height of the incident six fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to White Admiral Way in Hamstreet, Ashford yesterday afternoon.
Kent Fire and Rescue say crews were faced with an intense fire, which had spread throughout the semi-detached home.
Three firefighters suffered minor injuries and had to go to hospital - they've since been released.
Crews were continuing to dampen down hotspots at the scene last night and an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
