TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “SAMSUNG GALAXY Z FOLD 8 – JULY 2026 – Magic Radio” - On Air Competition” (the “Competition”)

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail.

1.ENTRY ROUTES AND COSTS

This on-air competition will take place during the below show and radio station from Monday 27th until Friday 31st July 2026

• Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Entries are restricted to one entry per person.

Entry to the on-air competition is available via the following routes: 

Call Magic Radio Studio Number: 03444 777 888 at the time indicated by the presenter.

If your call has not dialled the valid number or not connected, it will not be entered into the draw.  

Calls will be charged at your standard network rate.

Entrants must enter during the Entry Periods of the competition.

The on-air presenter will indicate when the phone lines are open and when they are closed.

Any entries received outside of the Entry Periods will not be entered but may still be charged. Bauer Media is not responsible for any latency experience or technical fault by your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your entry via phone.

2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

Competition Contesting periods

• 1 x competition round each day (Mon-Fri) in Magic Radio Breakfast (Between 0600 – 1000 at the time indicated by the on-air presenter)

HOW TO PLAY

• The on-air presenter will announce that the phone lines open and invite listeners to call in if they would like to take part in the on-air competition to win the prize(s) as detailed in section 5 (five).

• The presenter will indicate the opening and closing time of the competition entry period.

1. One caller will be chosen at random and taken to air and asked a series of 2 questions:

2. The caller will be asked the first question, if they answer correctly, they win £500 cash and will move onto question 2. If the caller fails to answer the first question correctly, they win nothing and the presenter will announce the end of the show’s game.

3. The caller is then asked the second question. If they choose not to answer a second question and fold, they then walk away with just the cash. If they choose to answer a second question and answer correctly, they win both the phone and the cash. If they choose to answer a second question and answer incorrectly, they lose both the phone and the cash and walk away with no prize(s)

• The contestant will only be deemed a winner, upon being selected and told by the presenter and the radio production team. 

• Please note that the production teams reserve the right to amend the competition mechanic at any point should they deem it necessary. The judge’s decision (the judge’s being the production teams) is final and at any point they are free to not award a prize should they deem it necessary.

• There may be points within the process that the production teams pre-record elements of the competition and play it out ‘as live’.

The chosen winner will be required to pass on their phone number and email to the production team, this will only be used in relation to organising their prize(s).

The winner will be contacted off air by 20/08/26 to arrange their prize(s).

If the chosen winner does not respond to any email or phone call communications within 28 days, we reserve the right to repeat the process in choosing another winner.

3. ENTRY PERIOD ON AIR ENTRY PERIOD

Entries must be submitted during the following entry period at the time indicated on air:

Monday 27th July 2026: Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Tuesday 28th July 2026: Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Wednesday 29th July 2026: Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Thursday 30th July 2026: Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Friday 31st July 2026: Magic Radio Breakfast (0600 – 1000)

Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown will be announced on air during the competition on-air period and will be made available by emailing [email protected]

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS Open to UK residents, aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

One entry per person.

Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

Anyone who has won a Bauer competition to the value of £500 or more within the past 6 months on any Bauer Radio brand, they or anyone living at the winning address will not be eligible to win this competition. If by any chance they get through to the phone lines – any prize they have been successful with will not be awarded. 5. THE PRIZE PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ON AIR COMPETITION MECHANIC (See Section 2), ENTRANTS TAKEN TO AIR TO PLAY, COULD LOSE THEIR ORIGINAL PRIZE AND WIN NOTHING

There are 2 elements to the prize.

• £500 cash paid via BACS to a UK Bank Account in the winners name and address only. This part of the prize is provided by Bauer Media.

• A Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 foldable mobile phone. Prize provided by Bauer Media.

Winnings paid via BACS to a UK Bank Account in the winners name and address only.

Proof of identification and address will need to be provided to Bauer Media. The winner’s name, phone number, email and address will be cross checked against the Bauer Winner Database and only once they pass the criteria, they will be deemed the winner of the competition.

Bauer Media Group will aim to send the prizes to the winner within 28 working days from the date they pass winner checks as mentioned above. However, there may be a delay due to potential unforeseen circumstances and therefore deliveries may take longer. Bauer Media Group will make necessary attempts to keep the winner up to date with details of any delays and when the winner can expect the prize. Bauer Media Group has the right to redraw another winner, if the Entrant selected does not respond within 7 days of initial contact, and continue to do so until a winner is found.

The prize provider is Bauer Media. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at: https://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/privacy-policy-20251030

OTHER CONDITIONS

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to a Prize Provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. For SMS entries you automatically consent to receive marketing. You may opt out at any time by texting the word STOP to the relevant text shortcode number. If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, then your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. 2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

3. MISCELLANEOUS.

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.

• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.

• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.

• Whilst on-air, you must not make any inappropriate, profane, indecent, harmful or offensive statements. If you do so we reserve the right to take you off-air immediately and disqualify you from the competition. You may be also disqualified from the competition at any time if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners. Any prize already won may be withdrawn and re-awarded to another entrant.

• As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition or any element of the Prize.

We may cancel, end or suspend the Competition where we are required to do so in circumstances outside our control. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any stage during the Competition if such amendment is necessary to facilitate the administration of the Competition.
