Man from Motherwell becomes second person to be charged over teenager's death in Northampton

A man from Motherwell has become the second person to be charged with the murder of a teenager in Northampton.
16-year-old Khadeem Parris died after being stabbed at a property in Adnitt Road, Abington, on Tuesday 7th July 2026.
Samwari Solomon, aged 20, of Coalhall Avenue, Motherwell appeared in court today (Saturday 8th August 2026) charged with murder.
He was remanded into custody and will appear at Northampton Crown Court on Monday 10th August 2026.
Another man, Fuad Mohamud, appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 14th July 2026 charged with murder.
The 21-year-old, of no fixed address, then appeared at Northampton Crown Court the following day.
He was further remanded in custody until his next hearing on Monday 17th August 2026.
A 19-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender are out on bail.
