Third man charged with murder following death of teenager in Sheffield

A third man has been charged with murder after the death of a teenager in Sheffield.
Police say 29-year-old Adam Mohammed of Acres Hill Road in Sheffield is due to appear before courts in Sheffield today.
It's after teenager Abdullah Yaser Abdullah Al Yazidi died after he was hit by a car on Staniforth Road in the city.
A Police statement said:
"A third man has been charged in connection with the death of teenager Abdullah Yaser Abdullah Al Yazidi.
"Adam Mohammed, 29, of Acres Hill Road, Sheffield, is charged with murder and three counts of attempt murder.
"He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday 18 June).
"On Wednesday (4 June), Abdullah was innocently walking along Staniforth Road, in Darnall, when a car collided with him.
"It is understood that a grey Audi had driven towards three electric bikes, colliding with one rider.
"As the car continued to travel following the collision with the electric bike, it further collided with Abdullah. The driver of the Audi failed to stop at the scene.
"Abdullah was taken to hospital where, despite the best efforts of medical personnel, he sadly died.
"Two other men have been charged in connection with the death of Abdullah. Zulkernain Ahmed, aged 20, and Amaan Ahmed, aged 26, both of Locke Drive, Sheffield, are charged with murder and three counts of attempt murder.
"Two men aged 30 and 40, have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They both have been released on bail.
"Two people, a man, aged 46, and a woman, aged 45, earlier arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remain on police bail."
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Benjamin Wood said:
"I would like to thank the local community for their support with our investigation into this heartbreaking incident.
"Abdullah was an entirely innocent bystander who has sadly lost his life. Our thoughts remain with his loved ones who have lost a beloved family member and friend in the most tragic of circumstances. Abdullah's family continue to request that their privacy be respected."
