Teenager hit by car after being stabbed in Crosby

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed and then hit by a car in Crosby.
The teenager was running away from two attackers on Monday night (24 February) when he was hit by the vehicle on Cambridge Road.
The driver stopped to call an ambulance, while two males were seen fleeing the area on electric bikes.
Police have confirmed the boy suffered serious but not life threatening injuries and is recovering in hospital.
Searches are ongoing for his attackers.
Detective Inspector Edward Barr, said: "Crimes scene investigators are carrying out forensic examinations at the scene and house-to-house inquiries re underway.
"Officers will also be examining CCTV footage in a bid to establish the circumstances leading up to the investigation.
"The area around Crosby baths will have been busy around 6pm and I would urge anyone who saw anything to come forward, I would also appeal to drivers who may have dashcam footage to get in touch with us so we can find those responsible and put them before the courts."
