Investigation underway into deaths of two sky divers in Devon

Two sky divers have died at an airfield in Devon, in what's being described as a 'tragic accident'.

Emergency services were called to the area of Dunkeswell Aerodrome yesterday lunchtime (Friday 13th June 2025).

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed two people were confirmed dead at the scene - and their families have been informed.

A spokesperson said: "Scene guards remain in place at the airfield and inquiries are ongoing by the relevant agencies."

Anyone with information on what happened is being urged to contact the force.

The Civil Aviation Authority said it was aware of the incident.

A British Skydiving board of inquiry will investigate the accident.
