Becky Hill reveals what it is she prefers about her 30s to her 20s
She's totally Team 30s
Last updated 18th Jun 2024
Big mate of KISS Breakfast, Becky Hill, joined Jordan and Perri recently to celebrate the release of her second album 'Believe Me Now?'. As expected, the album is full of dance floor bangers, including her hits 'Outside of Love', and 'Never Be Alone'.
The singer, who turned 30 earlier this year, previously said her album reflects a 'more grown' version of her, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to ask her which age is more fun, her 20s or her 30s.
Admitting she prefers being older, Becky said: "I am loving my 30s! 20s have more anxiety, 20s have more, 'I don't know what I'm doing here, I hope everyone likes me!'.
"I've really found like since turning 30... I'm so bored of walking into a room and being like, 'Sorry, I'm here guys!'
"I just feel like every single room I walked into I was like, really apologetic about who I was, and you know, leaving an interview like this, and being like, did I say anything that will get me cancelled?"
Becky then joked: "I mean, that still happens, but especially here!"
"I'm really looking forward to being older and not caring as much," Becky explained.
The 'Remember' singer went on to admit: "I had a terrible 20s, I couldn't wait to get into my 30s. I'm having an amazing time right now. I know who my friends are, I am able to conduct myself a bit better. I've got more confidence, just the things calm down a little bit more."
