We’re partnering with Save Our Scene for a major campaign in Birmingham.
A proposed Midlands Rail Hub project is threatening Digbeth, which is Birmingham’s cultural capital and home to its creative community.
The expansion and widening of the railway could lead to the demolition of 50 independent businesses including multiple music venues, such as XOYO, Club Colette, The Night Owl, Mama Roux and more.
To raise awareness, unite the community and seek support for the affected businesses, KISS and Save Our Scene (SOS) are hosting the 'SAVE DIGBETH BLOCK PARTY' on Sunday 11th October from 2pm on Lower Trinity Street, Digbeth for a multi-venue day party and afters to be announced.

SOS is a not-for-profit organisation and one of the UK's most recognised voices in the fight to protect grassroots music culture. Born out of the electronic music community, it has grown into a nationally significant platform that mobilises communities and creates campaigns that have changed the conversation around the protection of live music in the UK.

Why are we throwing a SAVE DIGBETH BLOCK PARTY?
These venues are where new artists play their first shows and where the city's subcultures find a home and right now there's no clear plan for what happens to them.
The campaign isn't against the railway. It is asking for a proper plan and fair support for anyone facing disruption or closure.
