X Factor's Monica Michael responds to 'fix' rumours
Admits the show made her anxious
Monica Michael has responded to rumours that The X Factor results are 'fixed'.
The moment she was eliminated from the show hit the headlines after host Olly Murs told Monica she was going home before he’d been given the envelope with the results.
It sparked a reaction online with some fans calling the show ‘fixed’ but speaking to an online newspaper the contestant said she doesn’t know - and even if that was the case we’d never find out.
The elimination wasn’t a surprise though as she admitted she knew 'in her heart' she'd be going home.
She went on to say although she’s glad to have done the show it caused her a lot of anxiety.
She explained that after spending years finding out who she wanted to be, covering other people’s music for weeks made her feel like she was ‘going backwards’.
The singer recently apologised after making a gun gesture on TV after the Paris attacks and admitted it was ‘insensitive’.
The star is currently working on a new album.
