Marvin Humes may have made his name as one-quarter of JLS on The X Factor back in the day - but despite still being in the band, he's gone on to have an incredibly successful career as a presenter, too!

Hosting telly shows like The Hit List alongside his wife Rochelle and - of course - appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2023 alongside our very own Sam Thompson, we're thrilled that Marvin is a part of both the KISS and Hits Radio families. Find out how you can listen to Marvin right here...

How can I listen to Marvin Humes on Hits Radio?

From Monday 13th April 2026, you'll be able to listen to him every weekday afternoon on Hits Radio from 1-4pm. Marvin said of joining Hits Radio: "I cannot wait to get started on Hits Radio! I’ve always loved their great music mix of the biggest hits and the biggest throwbacks, and I already feel such a part of the Hits family. Shout out Sam Thompson! We’ve got some big plans for the show and I’m excited for everyone to hear it."

How can I listen to Marvin Humes on KISS?

You can hear Marvin on KISSTORY in his brand new Sunday show 4-7pm.

How old is Marvin Humes?

The lovely Marvin was born on 18th March 1985, making him 41-years-old. He grew up in Greenwich in London.

What band is he in?

Marvin was one quarter of the iconic boyband JLS. Alongside Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill, JLS were responsible for legendary hits such as 'Everybody in Love', 'One Shot', 'She Makes Me Wanna' and 'The Club Is Alive'.

JLS formed back in 2007, under their old band name UFO. Oritsé originally formed the group, with them famously competing on The X Factor in 2008.

Prior to JLS, Marvin was part of another British R&B and pop group called VS.

Who is he married to?

Marvin is married to the lovely Rochelle Humes — who is also a former member of an iconic pop band! Rochelle was a member of girl group The Saturdays, who provided huge hits like 'Up', 'What About Us', 'Forever Is Over' and 'Ego'. The pair married back in July 2012.

Rochelle is now a successful television presenter, known for her work on shows such as ITV's This Morning, as well as having an impressive following on social media.

Rochelle and Marvin have even co-hosted together, presenting the game show The Hit List since 2019.

Does he have any kids?

He sure does! Marvin and his wife Rochelle are the proud parents to three children together. They have two daughters — Alaia-Mai and Valentina Raine — and a son, named Blake Hampton.

Alaia-Mai was born in May 2013, Valentina Raine was born in March 2017 and Blake Hampton was born in October 2020.

Was Marvin on The Masked Singer?

Yes! In February 2026, Marvin was on The Masked Singer, being unmasked in the semi-final of the seventh series. He had been hiding under the Can of Worms costume!

Although fans were thrilled to see Marv on the show, NOBODY was quite as shocked as his son, Blake, who went viral when Marvin shared a video of him finding out his dad was Can of Worms.

When was Marvin on I'm A Celebrity?

Marvin took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2023, going into the jungle alongside Josie Gibson, Tony Bellew and fellow Hits Radio presenter Sam Thompson, with whom he struck up a strong bromance! He came fifth.

Which other TV shows has he been on?

Aside from The Hit List, The Masked Singer and I'm A Celeb!, Marvin also presented The Voice UK from 2014 to 2016, and has also had presenting roles on This Morning, Surprise Surprise, Children In Need and Loose Women.

Fun fact: Marvin actually acted on Holby City in 14 episodes between 2000 and 2003 as Robbie Waring!

Here's a Q&A with Marvin to get to know him a bit better...

How did it all start for you?

"I’ve been DJing since I was 13, 14 — my dad is a DJ so I’ve got my music love and passion from him, and him to thank."

What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you hear it?

Marvin told us it's Armand Van Helden's track 'You Don’t Know Me' – saying: "To this day I still play it and it still sounds so fresh, it’s a Top 5 house track of all time."

If you could co-host with one celebrity in the world, who would it be?

"Sean Paul! I was lucky to meet him a couple of times and he lived up to every expectation – he’s just got bangers, and he’s still so relevant and not looked at as an older artist. Reggae music is timeless and you could fill a whole night of Sean Paul bangers!"

We couldn't agree more Marvin! Check out some of Sean Paul's biggest and best collaborations.

What’s your perfect night in or out?

Marvin offered up both his perfect night in, AND his perfect night out...

"In – home with Rochelle, catching up on Netflix with some wine and a curry!

"Out – I’m into brunches! Brunch vibes are great – you’re home by 9pm! "

If you could be eternally stuck in one music era, which would it be – and why?

It was a no brainer for Marvin, with him answering: "90s – no genre hits more than 90s R&B - if it doesn’t sound like 90s R&B I don’t want it!"

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

"I used to get mistaken for Theo Walcott the ex-arsenal player, so much so that I was shopping in town and this lady behind the counter was like I’m such a big fan I came to watch you last night, the goal you scored was incredible!

"She asked me for an autograph and I signed it as Theo Walcott!"
