Cattle truck collision closes M1 near East Midlands Airport

The M1 is closed between East Midlands Airport and Loughborough after a truck carrying cattle overturned

A trailer carrying cattle has overturned on the M1, closing the northbound carriageway between East Midlands Airport and Loughborough.

A collision happened between junctions 23 and 23a.

Leicestershire Police and National Highways Traffic Officers are on the scene.
