This August, KISS XTRA is bringing the sounds, culture and energy of Notting Hill Carnival to the airwaves with a month-long celebration packed with special programming, exclusive shows and DJ specials.

From Carnival-inspired mixes and Dancehall celebrations to live coverage straight from the streets of Notting Hill, to our Pre-Party at BOXPARK Shoreditch, KISS XTRA will be delivering the ultimate Carnival soundtrack all month long.

Whether you’re getting ready to hit the streets or soaking up the vibes from home, keep it locked to KISS XTRA for your Carnival fix.

KISS XTRA VERSE

Launching on Thursday 6th August from 7pm, KISS XTRA VERSE is a brand-new four-part series putting our KISS XTRA DJs head-to-head as they showcase their skills, knowledge and love for different genres.

Expect big tunes, serious skills and plenty of friendly competition.

Hosted by Craig Mitch, the battle lines are drawn: Team A brings Henrie, Davda and Esi, backed by guest DJ Emz, going up against Team B which includes Ace, PrettyHood and Sir DJ Corey, with their guest DJ Mista Hooli in the mix.

But of course, there can only be one winner…

The ultimate KISS XTRA VERSE champion will be crowned at the end of the month in a carnival special the KISS XTRA Carnival Live Show on Monday 31st August, hosted by Craig Mitch and Pretty Hood.

Round 1: The Ultimate Carnival Culture Clash

The first round of KISS XTRA VERSE has officially landed, and the tunes are about to get WAR-READY.

And for Round One? There's no better way to kick this off than a CARNIVAL TUNES verses, which is timed perfectly for Jamaican Independence Day. Both teams are pulling out ALL the stops to bring the biggest, baddest carnival selections you've ever heard.

Round 2: The Biggest UK Summer Anthems Clash

This round, it's all about UK SUMMER ANTHEMS.

The tracks that defined the season, the ones that had every crowd singing word for word, and now both teams have to prove who can flip them best. Big blends, bold selections, and zero room for error 🇬🇧☀️

Who's bringing the real summer energy, and who's just here for the ride?

Round 3: Mix & Blend

Round 3 is all about MIX & BLEND, where our KISS XTRA DJ's have to prove they can flip, cut and transition like true masters of the craft.

No hiding behind a good track selection this time, it’s all technique.

This round separates the good from the great. Who can blend seamlessly under pressure? Who's got the technical edge to take the win?

Round 4:

This is it, the last round, the WILDCARD round, and anything can happen.

There's no theme handed out this time, no time to prep. Each team pulls a THEME straight out the pot, live, and has to build a mix up on the spot, no safety net, no second guesses, just raw instinct and skill under pressure.

The winner will be revealed LIVE on Monday's Carnival Show with Craig Mitch and PrettyHood, don't miss it.

DAVDA’S DANCEHALL CARNIVAL SPECIAL

Kicking off Carnival weekend on-air, Davda will host a special Carnival-themed show celebrating the sounds and culture of the season.

Expect iconic Carnival anthems, big Dancehall sounds and a high-energy selection of tracks set to soundtrack Carnival this year, bringing the atmosphere straight to the airwaves.

CARNIVAL MONDAY LIVE HOSTED BY CRAIG MITCH & PRETTY HOOD

For the ultimate Carnival experience, KISS XTRA goes live on Carnival Monday with a special show hosted by Craig Mitch and Pretty Hood.

Expect the biggest Carnival tracks, live updates from the streets of Notting Hill and all the energy, culture and atmosphere of Carnival, with Pretty Hood reporting live and Craig Mitch holding it down in the studio.

They'll also announce the winner of this years KISS XTRA VERSE!
