Four arrests made in connection with Middlesbrough stabbing

One of two people found injured on Thursday night remains in a critical condition in hospital

Four people have now been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Middlesbrough.

Patrols have been stepped up in the North Ormesby area as Cleveland Police continue to investigate an incident on Thursday 6th November 2025.

One of two 44-year-old men found injured remains in hospital in a critical condition.

They reckon the two victims were injured whilst inside a vehicle which was attacked by suspects armed with weapons in Orme Court at around 9.30pm.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, a 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender and a 44-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

Officers believe that this was a targeted attack - and they don't think any suffered any injuries caused by a firearm.
