A man from Derby has gone viral online after having the barcode of a Creme Egg tattooed on his arm.
Matt Woodger from Derby decided to get one because they’re notorious for not scanning.
However, when he gets to the tills, his new ink actually scans - coming up with the chocolate egg, for 85p.
He took to his TikTok page to show how it works - he shared a clip of himself scanning his forearm at a self-service checkout.
The comments section was immediately filled with people praising him for the tattoo:
"Great idea. I'll get my Tesco club card done. I always forget it"
"50201600 - I don't even remember my phone number but I'll never forget the creme egg"
"As an ex Woolworths employee, this would have saved my sanity back in the day 😂"
Matt even got a reply from CadburyUK (via TikTok):
"Well we love this! Drop us a DM and let's talk all things Creme Eggs 👀💜"
The video has now been seen by more than 14 million people across social media platforms.
