Tonight Alive quit international touring to prioritise their mental and physical health

Australian pop punks Tonight Alive are taking a break from international touring for the foreseeable future so they can prioritise their mental and physical health.
The band took to social media last night to confirm their upcoming US tour in January/February 2019 with support acts I The Mighty and Doll Skin has been axed.
Confirming they will be taking a break from international touring, Jenna McDougall, Jake Hardy, Cameron Adler and Matt Best wrote:
āDear Humans. Itās with heavy but knowing hearts that we have come to the decision to cancel our upcoming U.S. tour for Jan/Feb. 2019. Our touring schedule over the years has been demanding and truthfully the makeup of our entire reality. Reaching the end of a particularly turbulent year, we are seeing the need to address and prioritize our mental and physical health. So in the interest of personal well-being and professional longevity, Tonight Alive will be taking a hiatus from international touring.
āWe are treating this as a matter of the heart, mind, body and soul and hope you can accept our sincere apology to those we are letting down. Despite the intensities of 2017/18, we have continuously felt the love, connection and support from you all. Thank you for exploring and expressing yourselves so purely and fearlessly in the Underworld era.
āWe are inspired by you and immensely grateful for this chapter of memories. Please be kind to yourselves. We wonāt be far away.ā
The extensive North American trek was due to kick off in Garden Grove, California on 18th January and wrap up at Los Angelesā The Roxy on 24th February.
Doll Skin wrote on Twitter: āHey guys, we have some sad news. The Tonight Alive tour has been cancelled. Our hearts are broken that we canāt see you all soon, but all of our love goes to the Tonight Alive team. We have huge announcements this year though, and we are writing our third album. Keep an eye out.ā

Tonight Aliveās fourth studio album āUnderworldā was released in January 2018. They toured the UK back in March.
